Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist In Charge with daily functions
- Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room
- Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner
- Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
- Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls
- Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications
- Package fill and ship medications
- Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies
- Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
- Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies
- Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
Qualification:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician
- Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus
- Accurate medication and generic knowledge
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Creating a safe, effective environment
Shifts:
- 11:00am - 7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays
- 12:30pm - 9:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays
